Emergency takeover

When your SAP Basis is suddenly left without support.

The provider gave notice, the administrator left, or the relationship has broken down. We take over running SAP landscapes at short notice: secure operations first, sort out the rest after.

The first days

Securing comes before tidying up.

Step 01 · Overview

Credentials and stocktake

Using your credentials we build the picture: which systems run, which jobs and interfaces are critical, who must be reachable when something breaks.

Step 02 · Secure

Stabilise operations

First we check the backups – in unattended periods they are what fails unnoticed most often. Then critical jobs, filling disks and open incidents. Our monitoring runs from day one.

Step 03 · Assess

Orderly takeover

What lived in your predecessor's head goes into documentation. Then you choose the service model that fits – or a transitional arrangement.

Monitoring from day oneWe connect NexControl. The first scan shows in black and white where backups, disks and security stand.
A clear frameThe securing phase runs on a short, clearly bounded engagement. We talk about a service contract only once operations are stable.
A proven pathThe takeover follows the same process as any planned provider change – we simply move the securing steps ahead of the paperwork.
Common questions

The questions asked most in this situation.

How fast can you start? The securing phase starts quickly – working credentials are what matters. Send us the system list and we sort out the rest in the first call.
What do you need from us?Access to SAP, operating system and database, a contact person on your side, and the hosting provider's details if there is one.
The old provider is not cooperating – what then?Their cooperation is not required. The systems belong to you; with your credentials we take over the landscape even without a formal handover.
Do you also step in temporarily?Yes. Also as a bridge until you fill an internal position or sign a new contract.
What happens after the securing phase? An orderly assessment, and if you wish, a regular service model afterwards. The documentation from the assessment is yours either way.
