We convert ECC systems to S/4HANA – brownfield, with SUM and DMO. We rehearse on a copy until the runtime fits your maintenance window, and the rollback path is agreed before the cutover starts.

Three phases to a converted system.

Phase 01 · Analysis

Know what is coming

Readiness check, assessment of simplification items, add-on compatibility, custom code check. The result is a list of what must happen before the conversion – and a first effort estimate.

Phase 02 · Trial runs

Rehearse on a copy

We convert a system copy, measure the runtime and work through the error list. We repeat until the result fits your maintenance window. Your production system stays untouched.

Phase 03 · Cutover

Switch on schedule

Cutover in the agreed window, with a defined way back. We do the post-processing overnight so that users log on to the converted system in the morning.

Also part of the packageHANA migration and OS/DB change beforehand, combination with a cloud move (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or RISE, authorisation rework, basic Fiori setup.
Your roleBusiness testing and sign-offs. Everything technical is on us: system copies, trial runs, error analysis and the cutover.
After go-liveWe stay available until the system runs quietly. If you wish, it then moves into our ongoing service.
Common questions

What companies ask before a conversion.

Brownfield or greenfield?We do the technical conversion of your existing system (brownfield). Whether a rebuild would suit you better is what the readiness check shows – and we tell you honestly.
How long does a conversion take?That depends on custom code, add-ons and test depth. After the analysis and the first trial run we commit to a date.
Is our maintenance window long enough?The trial runs decide: we measure the runtime on a copy of your system, not on experience from other landscapes.
What about our custom code?The custom code check is part of the analysis. We fix what blocks the conversion; everything else goes on a prioritised list for later.
Does this work in the cloud or under RISE?Yes. A move to the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or to RISE can be combined with the conversion.
